Annex at Hoathly Hill

West Hoathly
2018

Due to changing circumstances this house required an annex to release the main residence to the next generation in the family. The original house was formed in the 1970’s by conversion of a semi agricultural farm building in the grounds of a Grade II mansion, now converted to flats. Using the existing stone wall as a spine, the annex creates a private courtyard and has its own entrance and garden. The existing spare bedroom was incorporated in the plan to reduce the footprint.
